Gear List

Huge thanks to companies which chose to support my journey and sent me their kit!

HELD Motorcycle Clothing

This is what’s keeping me dry, ventilated, warm, safe – anything from really cold to 35c climate, and uninjured – and I do drop the bike twice before breakfast:
– Carese Evo GTX (removable) Jacket
– Torno Evo GTX (removable) Trousers
– Sambia Pro Summer Gloves when it’s hot
– Score 4.0 GTX Gloves when it’s wet or cold
HELD also makes tons of great underwear, clip in jackets etc. which come in handy 🙂

ENDURISTAN Luggage

Keeping my kit protected and dry:
Monsoon EVO L – 35l Panniers for all my kit
Sandstorm 4E Tank Bag is keeping my camera handy, safe and dry
Large Fender Bags because I need more space, always
Lyndon’s Tool Organiser is the best invention since sliced bread
Hurricane 25l Rucksack everyday I cry about having to switch to a larger pack because of all my photo kit and overnight hikes. It’s hard to explain how great it is to have a backpack that’s totally waterproof at all times.

I also use ENDURISTAN water bladder, ROK Straps, locks, the whole shabang. It let me down exactly zero times.

ANTIGRAVITY Batteries

Forget what your grandma told you. Lithium is the way to go.
It’s light, it never discharges to the point you can’t start anymore, and it has worked for me in +45c and -10c without complaints.
ATZ10 Re-Start Battery Lithium Smart Battery
XP-20-HD Microstart Powerbank for travelling, this is a god-sent. Yes it’s a bit on the larger side, but it recharges in one hour, it can 100w fast charge my MacBook, jump start my bike (or a truck), and it’s a great USB slot hub. I’m using it all the time.

Scottoiler

Lazy when it comes to lubing your chain? Me too.
I’m using eSystem Chain Oiler because I really hate dealing with it :-)))
Unlike most chain oilers this really is fit, set, and forget. And it tells me the ambient temperature!

Rolling Mavericks TOOLS and Stand

I was excited like a kid at Christmas when this package came. I love good tools and these are not only superb but ultra light and compact. I have Rolling Mavericks everything. And I love it.

Ultralight Trail Jack Stand 3.0
Asahi Lightool Spanners and Stubbies
Ratchet and accessories
Zipper Bags – just buy all of these. I use them for everything… Passport, action camera bits, camera batteries, medicine.. Everything.

Sensor Merino Clothing

I have a lot of love for this brand. The quality is amazing and it’s all made in Europe – Czech Republic!
It’s keeping me comfortable and not stinking for days!

Merino Air Long Sleeve
Merino Air Traveller Short Sleeve
Long Johns Air Thin
Long Johns Bold Thermal

Milan Holy Suspension – EnduroSkola.cz

Milan is a great guy! He’s not only sold me rear shock with zero markup, but helped me set everything up and tried to explain to me how it all works, in a way I almost understood :))) He’s helped me set-up my medkit and went above and beyond making sure I won’t bleed out somewhere. If you want to learn how to ride or need anything suspension related, he’s your guy!

The FTX Traveller suspension has been heaven-sent so far, everywhere from Europe to the tough mountains of Afghanistan.

Adventure Spec

Super Shirt
When I hit the desert or the temperatures climb daily above 35c, I have this little wonder stored in my bags. It’s not a true mesh jacket, but it vents well enough and is still AA abrasion rated. Without armour it doesn’t take up much space, so for truly scorching climates I switch my armour from Carese to Super Shirt

DR2.CZ Tablet Bracket

I came across these guys thanks to above mentioned Milan and they’ve been kind enough to send me their Tablet Bracket. It a super solid construction, it’s adjustable, and best of all – lockable.
I’m carrying spares that allow me to switch from using my table to my phone in case it breaks, it’s a really versatile system. Let them know what phone/table you’re using to make sure you receive correct parts
